Billy was greeted at Heaven’s Gates by his father, Estle Beverly and uncles Teddy, Kyle, Bernard and Connie, along with several aunts and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Parzada and Roy Boggs to welcome him home. He was known as Billy Bob by many, but his greatest name was Daddy and Pap. His grandkids were the light of his life and spending time with them was so special to him. Kevin R. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a medic. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 243 in Norton, VA. He loved his God, his family and his country.

He loved bluegrass music and enjoyed going to various music festivals. Gary was also a big Nascar Racing fan, especially Bill Elliott and then Chase Elliott. Along with his parents, Palmer is preceded in death by his brothers, Earl VanHuss, Coy VanHuss, Roger Kyle VanHuss and Daniel VanHuss; daughter-in-law Jackie VanHuss; and brother-in law, Chester Collier. She enjoyed word search books and reading, especially her Bible. Mildred was devoted to her church life, she attended every service she could, enjoyed singing in church and loved gospel music.

Gaskins, the beginning of a fifty-three-year union of marriage and work for the Lord. Ohreta Sprague, of Russell Springs, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her home. Ohreta was born in Russell County on April 27, 1945, daughter of Hollie and Myrtle Sharp Rexroat.
